If that exact same piece of socialist legislation attracted the support of 60% of Americans, Kirk would have been the first in line to champion it and bash all Republicans who oppose it as mean-spirited and uncaring.
Kirk has no intention of working to repeal Obamacare, let alone “lead” the effort. That’s why Mark Kirk was the only Illinois Republican NOT to sign a letter asking Lisa Madigan to block it from being foisted on Illinois citizens. Anyone who sincerely believes Kirk is adamently against Obamacare needs to ask themselves why Kirk hasn’t lifted a finger to “lead” the repeal of it.
