Good Poll News For Crist – In 2012 (Crist could beat Nelson in 2012! FL Hates OBamaCare)
National Review - The Feed ^ | 3-29-2010 | Via: Taegan Goddard

"A new Mason-Dixon poll shows Sen. Bill Nelson’s (D) popularity has fallen 18 points since his re-election in 2006, dropping to 36% overall. A possible reason is Nelson’s support for health care reform which is very unpopular among the state’s large population of retirees. Said pollster Brad Coker: “The only saving grace for Bill Nelson is that his election is in 2012 and some of the anger might die down by then.” In hypothetical matches for his 2012 re-election campaign, former Gov. Jeb Bush (R) trounced Nelson, 50% to 35% and Gov. Charlie Crist (R), who is running for the Senate this year, leads him by 47% to 37%. . . . Well, it’s good news for Crist unless Jeb runs. Please run, Jeb. Please! — GP"

Hilarious. Crist is loathed in Florida now but he could beat Bill Nelson in 2012. 47-37. LOL!

Ignore the BS people love ObamaCare polls - they hate it in Florida. Democrat Alex Sink is going down in flames to Bill McCollum.

Between Jeb and Crist, I’d prefer Jeb... but I really hope we can do better than either of them.

A RINO is still an upgrade over a liberal Democrat. So it would be a gain either way.

Instead of daily repetitions of the same old same old dialogue, how about some fresh thinking, outside the box?

For example, encourage all of the GOP’s rinos to go to the northeast and major cities?

Those locations are where they fit in, and may represent the best case for “conservatism” overall. Think Scott Brown.

Agreed.

Personally, I am weary of politicians named Bush, Daley, Kennedy, Gore or Clinton.

Oh I agree but it is hilarious. Tonight I noticed on Google news that the Wa Post/Newsweek/Gannett - USA Today are spewing polls how people like ObamaCare.

It is a LIE. This is so hilarious. Floridians think Crist is a clown and he is getting killed by Rubio. Even thought they pretty much despise Crist - he could beat that phony hay seed wannabe jacka*s Bill Nelson.

Florida hates ObamaCare and Nelson is getting killed along with Alex Sink-D. She is running for Gov of FL. She was behind 6 points before ObamaCare was signed and now she is down 15 points.

I don’t know about that. VA elected some tough Conservatives. Chris Christie is not super super conservative in NJ but I think he is fantastic.

Get the stinking Democrats pretending to be Repubs out of Conservative states like McCain and Graham-nesty.

The article I posted though is hilarious and most people here are not getting it. Crist is not liked in FL but after ObamaCare - Bill Nelson is hated.

ObamaCare is hated in FL by seniors and others. Ignore the phony BS polls Wa Po, USA Today and Newsweak are pushing.

Yes. but people do not understand the significance of what this means. Crist is loathed. Rubio is killing him.

What is so funny is Crist is hated but after ObamaCare - Sen Bill Nelson the Dem would lose to Crist! Another poll showed Nelson getting killed by ObamaCare. A year ago he would have been tough to beat.

This is all a barometer on how much people hate ObamaCare.

Florida has the highest unemployment rate in its history.

Florida is full of seasoned citizens who are scared to death of losing Medicare and SS.

Florida is full of young people pissed off about being required to buy health insurance they don't need or want.

Obama and Nelson are trashing NASA.

Florida is turning bright red....

Obviously I am sick about what is going on but this is some good news. A year ago Nelson would be tough to beat. Now Charlie Crist, who no one likes, could beat Bill Nelson.

This is like a cross reference with another poll showing I think 345 of people support Nelson. This is largely do to ObamaCare and to a lesser extent NASA.

To know Crist is to loath him.He would do well to stay as far away from tv cameras as possible.

I hope that Connie Mack Jr. doesn’t throw his hat in the ring in 2012. While I’d rather see him in the US Senate over the hapless leftwing dirtbag, B.Nelson, I still can’t forgive or forget Mack’s radio spots for Prime Time Charlie Crist. Hey Connie, I loved your father, but you are just politically tone deaf. Here’s a clue, claiming that Crist is a “conservative” doesn’t make it so.
