March 31 Marks Fifth Annual National Memorial for 'Terri’s Day'

NAPLES, Florida, March 29, 2010 (LifeSiteNews.com) – Friends of Terri Schiavo are calling on the pro-life community to commemorate her murder by dehydration and starvation on March 31, the anniversary of her death, by learning more about Terri's story and praying for other vulnerable individuals at risk of a similar fate.

Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, will be the celebrant and homilist at the Annual National Mass for Terri’s Day, Wednesday night, March 31 at the Ave Maria Oratory of Ave Maria University in Naples, Florida.

“On March 31, five years ago, Terri Schiavo died a court mandated and government enforced death,” said Fr. Pavone.  “I saw for myself, as I held her hand and prayed at her bedside, that this death was not ‘peaceful’ and ‘beautiful’ as euthanasia advocates want us to think.

"Moreover, as health care is placed more and more in the hands of the government, we have to be more vigilant than ever to protect the Terris of today and tomorrow.”

“Terri’s Day” was established by Terri’s family and Priests for Life to foster education, prayer, and activism to counter discrimination against the disabled. The groups are urging churches, schools, organizations, families, and individuals to observe the day. Suggested prayers and activities are available at http://www.terrisday.org/

The National Mass for Terri’s Day will be held on March 31 at 5:00 pm, at 5040 Ave Maria Boulevard, Ave Maria, FL 34142.  A light reception will follow.

It should be noted that Terri's maiden name was Schindler. So this is an interesting coincidence -- as the subject of Schindler's List is about the victimization of the Jews as being subhumans.

Additionally, Terri's death was March 31. Pope John Paul, who also on a feeding tube at this time, died the next day on April 1.

The Judge who ordered Terri's death was legally blind. It is interesting that he supposed viewed a video showing Terri's reactions to things.

Additionally, this judge was acting illegally, as one who was the guardian of a person could not also make judgements about the same person.

He did that in Terri's case.

The good ol' boys in Florida disposed of Terri. This is what it gets down to.

The "judge" is George W. Greer of Florida's Sixth Judicial Circuit. The INjustice of his actions knew no bounds. He said this in 2001: "I don’t want anyone trying to feed that girl... the law of the case is that she is going to die."

A list of his crimes -

Hard to believe it’s been five years. I’ll never forget the saga of Terri Schiavo (Schindler)—it ranks right up there with 9/11 in terms of news stories that will stay with me (and, yes, haunt me) the rest of my life.

Actually the Pope died April 2nd.

Terri's ordeal will prohibit Jeb Bush from EVER getting near the Presidency.

..just a side-note that may be of interest to some.
