Health Care bill unconstitutional, SCOTUS challenge inevitable
Examiner.com ^ | 3-27-2010 | Dianna Cotter

While the left is still cheering on the passage of its Holy Grail legislation (“Nationalized Health Care”), jubliation is still rampant in the socialst leaning streets of Portland Oregon. But reality is beginning to set in.

However, in just the last few days, companies who must file disclose their obligations when any of their revenue expectations shift beyond a certain threshold, have begun to do so. Because of Nationalized Health Care, large companies including ATT, John Deere &Co., Caterpillar, AK Steel, 3M, and Valero Energy have all by law begun releasing their revised corporate outlooks because they have been dramatically changed with the passage of the bill. ATT’s outlook is down by 1 Billion dollars. John Deere & Co by 150 Million, Caterpillar 100Million, AK Steel 31 Million, 3M 90 Million, Valero, by 20 Million. Numbers like these mean a large number of people are going to lose their jobs, guaranteed.

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++snip

This is disturbing to say the least, yet even more sobering is the realization that demanding and enforcing the American people buy insurance with the passage of Nationalized Health Care - the Individual Mandate, congress has just handed itself a blank check as to what it can do.

A point that most people have failed to recognize with this unconstitutional bill is this: Congress, with the commerce clause, is attempting to regulate INACTIVITY.

Exactly which one of the Enumerated powers of Congress is this one? (hint: it isn’t on the list)

I believe it might be time to let SCOTUS know we have a certain level of expectations regarding them taking this case (or cases).

IOW: "Here's your collectivist health insurance. And here's your pink slip to pay for it. Now get your hippie ass out of my engine plant, you're out of a job."

The White House, Congress and SCOTUS are not the government! The people are the government! The three other branches operate only at the consent of the governed who have clearly stated for more than a year they do not consent to the unconstitutional, socialist health care agenda being shoved down our throats and are not bound to comply with any unconstitutional act of Congress! This fundamental point needs to be hammered home to Congress critters!

Portland, OR and Seattle, WA are two hardcore leftist towns; it is not likely any sense will come from either one.

You gotta think that somewhere 4-5 SCOTUS justices have discussed this issue and know they may be the last hope for our freedom...

Before a more "expressive" statement is made.

We will not sit down.
We will not shup-up.
We will not quit.
We will not go quietly.

Ever!

If the government can force you to buy health insurance then they can force you to buy Cheerios. Both are products for sale by American companies.

Is there a website for SCOTUS where we can post?

Have to add to that, “here’s the number for congress, they are writing your checks now, as long as they can anyway...”

Actually, Virginia has the rocket Docket. it will go a lot faster than a lot of people expect. Virginia has filed its own case if I remember correctly.

In order for the Supreme Court of the United States to validate this bill as being legal and constitutional, it will have to overturn legal precedents set a number of times over our 250+ year history

I don’t think it matters, there is a specific order that gets cases to the USSC. And the lower courts is where it is started. They must work their way through the process in place. You just don’t go straight to the USSC. Civics 101.

Attn: corporations and business owners. If you regretfully have to let people go or lay offs due to the ObamasCare legislation causing economic hardships please do a little homework now and find out who your liberal/pro Obama employees are and get rid of them first. Give them the change they voted for first-—after all, you will be honoring their freedom of speech and ideology. Thank You!

Like Andrew Jackson and Abraham Lincoln, Obama will ignore any ruling against the NHC bill.

The horror of this DeathCare bill was discussed today on the Bob Brinker “MoneyTalk” radio show again today. BTW, Bob reported on the protesters in Reid’s hometown and held them up as examples of how much against this bill The People are. He said there were 50,000 against Reid and the bill (and the dems in general) and only 200 FOR Reid. Do the math, dems, you are toast.

EVERYONE with common sense knows this bill is unconstitutional and fatally destructive to the People and to America.

The SCOTUS, I have very very little regard for them, seeing that they deep sixed even the thought of making sure Zero was eligible, before the swearing in of said SOB.

If they take their oath even a little seriously, the SCOTUS will declare DeathCare’s mandate unconstitutional.

Not holding my breath.

GRR.
