I’d never heard of the site before. The stories that folks had posted seemed to be of both political persuasions. Thanks for the heads-up on the ownership.

What did you think of the arguments the Sgt. made?

I think he got a bit carried away with himself.

For all I know any violence comes from dim plants.

There are very few righties left on the site. The ones that stay have Stockholm Syndrome. I spent some time at Newsvine as a contributor and know full well what kind of treatment anyone to the right of center gets.

The Sergeant’s arguments were puerile and quite unknowledgable except for telling us he’d be willing to take up arms against the civilian population of the U. S.

I don’t believe this was written by an active duty Marine, PERIOD.

The Sergeant says he is sworn to uphold the Constitution. But at what point will he no longer support elected Representatives and Senators who are actively subverting and thwarting the Constitution with all their might? At what point would our military overthrow a political coup by marxists and throw its support behind the strict Constitutionalists? He leaves these critical questions unanswered. By doing so, and by posting on Newsvine, I think it is easy to figure out where he stands on this critical question.

I didn’t read it all. I just a couple of reasons in and was going.....”is he threatening us???? and I stopped reading. He’s woefully uninformed. We are not a democracy, or should not be. That we are functioning as one is a BIG problem with our country today.
And I don’t have to go to the recruiting office to see what a Marine can do, I KNOW a Marine can take me down.
But we’re not calling for a civil war, although if we were, a takeover by Marxists does seem to be reason enough to do so! It’s not Conservatives that need to be spoken to, it’s those damned insane liberals.
