After the Senate passed a "fix-it" bill Thursday to make changes to the new health care law, Sen. Max Baucus, D-Mont., chairman of the influential Finance Committee, said the overhaul was an "income shift" to help the poor.
As Democrats tout the moral underpinnings of the federal health care system overhaul -- ensuring health care coverage for nearly all Americans -- one senator appeared to go off message when he said the legislation would address the "mal-distribution of income in America."
After the Senate passed a "fix-it" bill Thursday to make changes to the new health care law, Sen. Max Baucus, D-Mont., chairman of the influential Finance Committee, said the overhaul was an "income shift" to help the poor.

Here it comes.....Like a freight train...
""Too often, much of late, the last couple three years, the mal-distribution of income in American is gone up way too much, the wealthy are getting way, way too wealthy and the middle income class is left behind," he said. "Wages have not kept up with increased income of the highest income in America. This legislation will have the effect of addressing that mal-distribution of income in America."

Hey, Senator. How about redistributing YOUR wealth? Odds are, you make more than 99 percent of Americans. How much of that do you think you deserve?
And stop lying to the public. You're not redistributing wealth from the rich to the middle class. You're redistributing wealth from the rich and the middle class to the chronically indigent.

The moral underpinnings: looting money from those to who it belongs and giving it to those it does not. Morality straight from the pit of hell.

Yeah, well who with more than a double-digit IQ didn’t already know this? And all of your upcoming agenda is about the same thing-redistribution to illegals, to parasites, to those too lazy and incapable to earn their own keep, etc. All this redistribution of course exempts the leftist “elites” (unions and congress).

Funny how they have such a problem with theology and tout separation of church and state, yet praise the “moral underpinning” of their law. Bush got massacred in the praise for even hinting that a policy decision was based on his morals.

What freakin income do these idiots plan to redisribute?
They’re driving employers out of business—who exactly will be paying all these taxes when nobody is working?
Oh wait, they’ll just print more money.

In other words, since I have valuable skills and work hard, I am compelled against my will to give part of my earnings to someone who can't or won't work as hard?
Exactly how is that different from slavery Senator?
We need to make this upcoming election about the Democrats trying to reimpose
SLAVERY.

It is only involuntary redistribution for Christians and Jews
with Congressional staff also immune.
Muslims Exempt From Obamacare
The new Obamacare legislation that was forced on unwilling Americans this week
specifically mandates that we all purchase health insurance. That is, unless you don't
believe in that sort of thing. That's right, the current health care bill contains a clause
which exempts certain individuals form the requirements and penalties set forth in it.
" EXEMPTIONS FROM INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITY REQUIREMENTS.
In the case of an individual who is seeking an exemption certificate under section
1311(d)(4)(H) from any requirement or penalty imposed by section 5000A, the following information:
In the case of an individual seeking exemption based on the individuals status as a
member of an exempt religious sect or division, as a member of a health care sharing
ministry, as an Indian, or as an individual eligible for a hardship exemption, such
information as the Secretary shall prescribe."

Amish, Muslims to be excused from Obamacare mandate?
Amish, Muslims to be excused from Obamacare mandate? WordWayze The Senate
health care bill just signed contains some exemptions to the "pay-or-play" mandate
requiring purchase of Obamacare-approved health insurance or payment of a penalty fine.
As Fox News has pointed out, for instance, the Amish are excused from the mandate:
So while most Americans would be required to sign up with insurance companies or
government insurance plans, the church would serve as something of an informal
insurance plan for the Amish.
Law experts say that kind of exemption withstands scrutiny.
"Here the statute is going to say that people who are conscientiously opposed to paying
for health insurance don't have to do it where the conscientious objection arises from
religion," said Mark Tushnet a Harvard law professor. "And that's perfectly constitutional."
Apparently, this exemption will apply similarly to believers in Islam, which considers
health insurance - and, for that matter, any form of risk insurance - to be haraam (forbidden).

What is wrong with Montana voting this scum in?Like most politicians Baucus talks one way in DC and another at home. In the past the press was able to cover for this duplicity but and most folks are too disengaged to fight through the spin to get the truth.
Things are changing fast, though. People are angry and that makes them engaged and technology has made the MSM propaganda wall porous enough for people to see through to the truth.

And the more jobs exported with bi-partisan fleece trade deals the more the income disparity will grow. Darwinian economics is challenged at the voting booth. Majority wins.

Actually, wealth isn’t distributed so much as income. Someone who is already a millionaire may or may not have a lot of income. Progressive income taxes are way to keep anyone else from acquiring wealth. Those who already have wealth aren’t really hurt much by income taxes. Income taxes aren’t going to take away the nice cars, beautiful homes, etc. Consider the progressive income tax more of a Keep ‘Em Down tax.
