A good choice might be some executive of El Al, but of course that’s impossible since Obama thinks Israel is wrong and the terrorists are right.

He was thinking that it was a "Czar" appointment for which no questions would be asked. Most likely he realized that this appointment started attracting unwanted attention to his business dealings. And his business pays far better than the government position.
