The deal is simple. You have a lot of old people depending on their health care fund to deal with this. Only now they will have to deal directly with the Medicare bureaucracy and the company hired to manage things for Medicare.
My father never had any misbillings from his medical insurance provider until they created Medicare, and the he found misbilling after misbilling coming in from Medicare.
I find it incomprehensible why the Democrats wanted to do this ~ it's totally irrational. Only insane people could have done this ~ brutal, evil, insane idiots.

I agree - “oops, more people on Government healthcare” - is NOT an unintended consequence... the whole plan is to get more on govt healthcare.
