By the way, do you know of anybody hiring for part-time after hours work? Mr S learned that one of his most expensive meds isn’t covered. I’ll get a part time job if I have to.

G’evening. The silence on the South Korean situation is deafening. Our Dear Leader is probably preparing a ‘tough’ statement on ‘what’ SoKo did to ‘provoke’ Kim Jong Ill...and how the SoKos’ must explore ways to make peace...yada yada...blah, blah...to better understand...blah, blah, the NorK point of view.

That said...sorry to hear of the med costs, sneakers. I tto have been looking for a second job (Walgreens is expanding here) but my oh my the “depth” of applicants. I applied to Walgreens online, and when one openned close to my house, I asked (managers were floating around during their grand openning week about employment ops). She said they were overwhelmed w/ aps. Don’t lose faith though (I haven’t...my quest is for wedding $). Also...check your FReep mail later...will drop you a line.

Just checking in on Sat. night. Earth Hour coming up, LOL! I'm at work...sigh...been getting stuff packed up for our move to th e apartment on Thursday...can't wait!

Was talking with a relative today as we were packing. He couldn't believe I'm a Q&R fan. Claims Jim is baseless on his rants!

Jim and Rose both attribute everything they mention and if they are wrong THEY ADMIT IT AND CORRECT!

Then my brother in law and I got going on the HCR thing....sigh. WHY DO I TRY? Let's just let them sink in the cesspool of socialism!

Hopefully next week(end we'll be in our apartment with net access...I'm not holding my breath, LOL!

Do you do any on air work?

Not as much as I used to. A couple of years ago I was working overnights and then doing news fro 6 - 10 AM. My wife came to pick me up and I was just about dead. The next day I gave notice that if I have to be on air I can't workd from 11pm til 10 AM. At 60 yo I can't do it anymore. They didn't like it but so far I've only been on air maybe a couplde dozen times over the past year. And then it's noly if I REALLY have to...i.e. no one else is here, LOL!
