Fatah: Virgin Mary Was Palestinian
Israel National News ^ | 03/25/2010

Palestinian Media Watch reports that in its official statement in honor of International Women's Day, the Fatah movement listed a group of "Palestinian" women of whom it is proud: Martyrs, fighters, prisoners and the Virgin Mary.

"If we are proud of the holiness of our land, then we are proud and pride ourselves that the first and most important holy woman among the nations and peoples is from the holy land: The Virgin Mary - the woman of love and peace - is of the nation of Palestine, whose roots are grounded in the depths of history. Our movement takes note of its pride in all the women Shahidas (Martyrs), prisoners, Palestinian fighters, who have become a model of sacrifice and a school that teaches the meaning of giving and of sacrifice."

There’s no such thing as a “Palestinian”.

Before 1948, Israeli Jews were called Palestinians. The Jerusalem Post used to be the Palestine Post. The Romans renamed Israel “Palestine,” when they conquered Israel, to stick it to the Jews. It was meant to inflict the ultimate insult to name the country after the Jews’ enemies, the Philistines.

Canaan was the grandson of Noah:

“These are the generations of the sons of Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth ... The sons of Ham: Cush, Egypt [i.e. Mizraim], Put, and Canaan ... When Noah awoke from his wine and knew what his youngest son had done to him, he said, “Cursed be Canaan; a slave of slaves shall he be to his brothers.” He also said, “Blessed by The Lord my God be Shem; and let Canaan be his slave.” (Genesis 10:1,6 9:24-26)
The Canaanites

Despite the curse put upon Canaan by Noah (and the concurrent blessing upon Shem, from whom the Israelites are descended - see Hebrews), Canaan had many descendants whose territory, although limited at first to the Mediterranean coastal areas of Lebanon (i.e. Sidon) in the north, and then Gaza in the south, by the time of Moses and Joshua they occupied all of the land west of The Jordan River and the Dead Sea/Salt Sea, including Jerusalem (i.e. the Jebusites):

“Canaan became the father of Sidon his first-born, and Heth [see Sons And Daughters Of Heth], and the Jebusites, the Amorites, the Girgashites, the Hivites, the Arkites, the Sinites, the Arvadites, the Zemarites, and the Hamathites. Afterward the families of the Canaanites spread abroad. And the territory of the Canaanites extended from Sidon, in the direction of Gerar, as far as Gaza, and in the direction of Sodom, Gomorrah, Admah, and Zeboiim, as far as Lasha.” (Genesis 10:15-19 RSV)

Mary was JEWISH. Typical Islamofascist idioacy.

“of the nation of Palestine.”

LOL.

OK, I’ll play:

Who was the king of the Nation of Palestine 2000 years ago?
Currency?
Buildings?
Borders?
Language?

And how about that geneology in Matthew (or one of the gospels)? I take it the Joooos put all those Joooos in there?!@

That’s interesting. I never knew Muslims believed in the Virgin Birth. It’s odd given that that they hold Muhammed in higher regard than Jesus. I mean, was Muhammed born of a virgin?

I wonder, do they believe in her perpetual virginity also?

Yes, and the Jews are the just inhabitants of Palestine. :^)
Unless, you identify Palistinian with Phillistine; in which case she wasn’t Phillistine.
Oh, and then there’s that little funny thing that the occupiers of the West Bank and Gaza aren’t Palestinians; most “Palestinian” Muslims are Arabs, Persians, Syrians, Egyptians and Turks.

You are absolutely right and had to be if indeed the Nazarene called Jesus was the Messiah (Christ in Greek) to meet the demands of Jewish scripture.

I am consistently amazed how the Islambies have to refer or try to steal Judeo-Christian characters to show grace, mercy and the forbaring love of God.

Sure there is. The word, “Palestinian,” comes from the word, “Phillistine.” The British established the Protectorate of Palestine, and then granted independence to the groups native to it. The tiny eastern portion became known as Israel, and the vast Eastern portion became known as “the Trans-Jordan,” until the trans-Jordanians invaded Israel and seized BOTH sides of the Jordan.
