Here’s my perspective, fwiw: Let’s DON’T insist that Tricare lower its standards to meet the private sector.
I am retired military, married to retired military, five grown kids between us. If they are not done with college and/or up and out by age 23, we’ve failed them.
Or they’ve failed themelves and don’t come crying to us for a bailout.
OK, that’s assuming there still IS Tricare in a few years, which I doubt.
I completely agree. This was brought to my attention by a Gold Star wife. Her kids will be just fine. Nobody hates this bill more than she does. She just wanted to point out the fact that military kids were not included.
