IOWA CITY President Obama on Thursday began an aggressive White House public relations blitz to sell his newly signed health care overhaul to a skeptical and sometimes confused public, calling the measure pro-jobs and pro-business and taunting Republicans who are vowing to repeal it.
My attitude is, go for it! Mr. Obama declared, challenging his critics at a campaign-style rally here. If these congressmen in Washington want to come here to Iowa and tell small business owners that they plan to take away their tax credits and essentially raise their taxes, be my guest.

In BamBamKennedy's world it is ‘pro-jobs’ and most definitely ‘pro- his business’. French Revolution anyone?
To: Nachum
Of course it’s pro-business if you don’t have a clue about how a profitable business works and your a liar.

Pro Business?!
I have seen 3 reports from major corporations. Caterpillar reported the bill would cost them $100M a year, and cause them to move jobs off-shore. Verizon made a similar statement yesterday about costs. Today, John Deere reported the law will cost them $150M a year.
I hate doing math in public, but if each of the S&P 500 companies spends $100M a year because of this bill, then that equates to about a reduction in the economy of $50B annually. And the S&P 500 is but a small fraction of our economy.

No gov hack cares or understands business except that it can appear to be able to afford to fund campaigns. Business in America has to stop giving money to politicians. It simply increases the price to consumers.

This road trip can only make people more angry at bambi. He is lying and they now know it. This is amazing what the idiot in chief is doing, he couldn’t sell water to a thirsty man but there he is, on the road, lying again and thinking this will build public support.

In the upside-down world of the radical left, imposing massive new taxes on businesses then giving them a few tax credits to cope with just some of the impact is pro-business.
In their worldview, all money belongs to the government and any which they allow the peasants or the peasant's businesses to retain is a benevolent gift from their betters.

I watched some clips of Obama's speeches today and I am awestruck by the sheer arrogance. I have never seen anything quite like this before. He and the dems rammed through completely partisan legislation and he is strutting around gloating in front of his handpicked crowds. All while his party and it's media lapdogs have orchestrated a campaign to label any opposition as violent and racist.
This has nothing to do with trying to gain support or he and the democrats would be acting differently. They are simply shoving their "victory" in our faces!
