I'm going to be 45 later this year... I'm seeing my first B'way show in April... and I'm paying for my flight up there on my own (and paying taxes on all these purchases).

Does Mrs. O have to pay taxes on this "little" trip to NYC?

Years ago I won a trip to visit ABC studios in NYC (stayed at the Essex House on Central Park) and ESPN in CT. The value of those winnings was $4,000 reported to the IRS (and I paid $1,000+ in taxes).
