Stupak’s group were the key votes.
An Executive Order that can be reversed by Presidential fiat from a President WHOSE FIRST ACT IN OFFICE was an Executive Order allowing international funding of abortion is what convinced him?
What version of Stupak “man hug”-style dirt did the Chicago guys dig up???

Kirkpatrick’s (’RAT-AZ) ass is grass. I’m going to work hard over the next 8 months making sure she gets thrown out on her goatsmellin’ ass.

Even Cao voted no. Not a single Republican.

I guess my moonbat Congresscritter better be getting her resume up to date.
If you ask me to name the proudest distinction of Americans, I would choose--because it contains all the others--the fact that they were the people who created the phrase 'to make money.' No other language or nation had ever used these words before; men had always thought of wealth as a static quantity--to be seized, begged, inherited, shared, looted or obtained as a favor. Americans were the first to understand that wealth has to be created. The words 'to make money' hold the essence of human morality.
Yet these were the words for which Americans were denounced by the rotted cultures of the looters' continents. Now the looters' credo has brought you to regard your proudest achievements as a hallmark of shame, your prosperity as guilt, your greatest men, the industrialists, as blackguards, and your magnificent factories as the product and property of muscular labor, the labor of whip-driven slaves, like the pyramids of Egypt. The rotter who simpers that he sees no difference between the power of the dollar and the power of the whip, ought to learn the difference on his own hide-- as, I think, he will. --Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged

I think the biggest reason that the Dems bulled healthcare “reform” through this time, as opposed to 1993, is that the insurance companies colluded with them. In 1993, the insurance companies led the opposition and spent tons of money on the Harry and Louise ads.

Well that’s good. He was on the fence for a bit, but at least the rats can’t call this crap bi-partisan.

When will you folks realize Stupak has just been grandstanding and posturing all along? He was always going to be a yes vote. Kabuki theater. This was pretend drama. Pelosi had at least a dozen votes to spare if she needed them - but didn’t, so they were allowed to vote no.

I am flying my flag upside down tomorrow to signify that America is in distress. Our life and property are in danger.

Yep. I don’t think any LA legislator voted for this mess today. They know better.

Thank you for posting this. I checked my state’s delegation. I’m happy to say that ALL of Alabama’s reps voted “no” included Bright and Davis who are RATS.

Well, I was praying he’d stand firm and thank God he did. I just wish there had been more. We only needed a few!
