A guy in Tampa went in for surgery to amputate his left leg, but the doc removed the right leg. Upon learning of the error, the doc had to go in and amputate the left leg, as originally scheduled. Well, as most would know, the guy would obviously sue and did. However, the judge threw out the suit on the grounds the guy didn't have a leg to stand on!
If you really knew how often this occurred and was kept quiet, you would never trust a surgeon again. God complex or not.
