Sarah Palin: America – Be Heard or Brace for “Transformation”
Facebook ^ | Friday March 19, 2010 | Sarah Palin

Posted on 03/19/2010 3:25:00 PM PDT by Bigtigermike

Please stay involved throughout the weekend on the Obamacare debate. There will be another very important rally in D.C. at noon on Saturday. If you are anywhere near the Beltway or can travel there this weekend, I urge you to participate. Jon Voight and Rep. Michele Bachmann and many others will be there.

Click here for details. (Michelle Malkin has a link here to grassroots organizers setting up transportation to D.C.).

If you can’t attend the rally, you can still make your voices heard by calling and writing your Representative. Sign the petition here to remind Congress that “November Is Coming.” As Rep. Boehner said today, “Republicans can’t beat this bill, but the American people can.” Stand strong together!

The implications of Obamacare will reach into every aspect of our lives, from the value of our paycheck, to the quality of our health care, to the opportunities that will be stripped from Americans as we’re shoved under the enormous burden of more government growth and control. We must stop this now. “United We Stand, Divided We Fall.”

Oh please.

She doesn’t need to fly off to every danged thing you and others deem worthy in your minds. Who does that?

Ron Paul? no
Mitt Romney? no
Huck? no
Thune? no
Jindal? no

But...she beats them all making public statements.

There is nothing that Sarah can either do or not do that won’t be criticized by the FR palin-haters.

Michele Bachmann will have everyone fired up. I also think Sarah respects Michele and doesn’t want to ‘rain on her parade.’ If you are observant, you’ll notice Sarah usually stays away if Michele Bachmann is running an event (unless she’s invited) as she is aware she will steal the show. Sarah saves ‘raining on parades’ for Mitt Romney.

Well I think we should keep calling and emailing our reps but I don’t think in the long run it will make a difference. They have made it very clear THEY DON”T CARE what we think. Maybe 2010 they will.

Whatever happens this weekend, we need a blowout come November. This has been too close.

Furthermore its not enough just to stop this thing, we need to turn this ship around. Its been a long time since I heard any politician stand up and give a full-throated defense of the constitution. Repubs are usually trying to split the difference and sneak into office by the side door.

But I’m getting tired of playing static defense anyway. I’m looking for men and women who are not afraid to go on the attack. Reacting to every monstrocity the other side sends our way leaves us always chasing the ball. Time to let them chase the ball for a change.

Yep. Moderates like Romney come from a place of negotiating on Democrat terms, and they're how we got here. Hey, I admit, I voted for enough of them. They're the problem, not the solution.

I should say, they come from a place of negotiating on behalf of Republicans, on Democrat terms. Principle doesn’t guide them — the deal does.

I agree with you.

Principle doesn’t guide them — the deal does.

Exactly. For too many "conservatives", conservatism means if the Dems propose a 100 billion dollar program, you try and hold the line at 50, and then you compromise on 75 billion. If the Dems propose a new bureaucracy, you try to give them only half the personnel the Dems asked for... and then each year you only agree to half the increase.

In the name of bipartisanship.

For too many politicians, "conservative" means following the Dems around, but getting there fifteen minutes late.

This is why I don't like Romney, just as an aside. He's a deal-maker. He'll implement the Dem agenda, but do it on a balanced budget.

Why is there not more outrage about Mitt Romney or Mike Huckabee being derelict in their duty to oppose Obamacare with all their vengeance.

Good point.

The only people I'm interested in for 2012 will be people who were in the fight in 2009 and 2010. Guys who were polishing their position papers and waiting for primary season should not bother knocking because I'm not interested.

If they weren't in the fight now, they aren't worthy of support. Leaders lead. They don't wait for a coronation.
