Great. Another “queer studies” major. Just what the world needs.

In this photo released by Warner Bros, talk show host Ellen DeGeneres sits down with Constance McMillen, left, an 18-year old student from Fulton, Miss, whose prom was canceled after she asked to bring a same-sex date. Who paid for Barney Frank’s education?

Ellen: “Along with the check, I’ll take you to the prom. And for this amount of scratch, you better put out - my bitches don’t eat for free.” (Yes I know it was cancelled.)

Great. So being a lesbian now is enough to merit one a scholarship. What about the kids actually working hard in school and in their communities to EARN a schlorarship?? I guess they made the mistake of being straight. Oh well, when 2 years from now this gal is in college and discovers guys and decides the whole lesbian thing was just a fadish phase, Ellen can demand her money back.

I’m going to get flamed for this but...
Generally speaking I like Ellen. I have gay friends and family. That said, I have a problem when they force their lifestyle down your throat...
This girl screwed many kids out of a prom because she wanted to make a public issue about her sexuality.
Next, someone will want to bring their goat to the prom...

Good for Ellen, she puts her money where her mouth is. On 2nd thought, I don’t want to know where her mouth is.

I'm not even going to pretend that I watch Ellen.

I married my dog last week in San Freakcisco, I cross-dress on the weekends, and I am trans-sexual.
Hey Ellen...am I eligible for a scholarship?

So nobody gets a prom.
Classic lib thinking, I don’t get to do my special and different thing, so nobody gets to.
They apply this with everything from Christmas decorations to Mother’s Day.
I really wonder people just don’t rebel.
