Atlanta used to be a place to enjoy

Roger that. I enjoyed this place immensely up until shortly after the '96 Olympics.

At this point, I'm thinking about escaping to Idaho. Seriously.

The perp, if judged guilty, of course; doesn't deserve the effort of a bitch slapping. A quick 9mm behind the ear would suffice.

Unfortunately, this scumbag's future will be the waste of millions of tax dollars on a circus trial, umpteen appeals costing millions more, and 25 years of being the BMOC on Death Row. such is our wonderful lawyer-industrial complex.

I bet a lot of people who “live and work in Atlanta” never set foot down where I am.

You got that right. There are several No-Go Zones inside the Perimeter.

How sad. In the bigger picture of things...if you’re not armed and ready, just hand over the phone.

I am increasingly convinced that the lower classes — of all races — should be left to fester among themselves. Those who want to cross into civilization should, of course, be welcome (and be kept under transitory surveillance). The rest should be let to enjoy the self-chosen splendid squalor.

I bet you are right. Off the top of my head I can think of 3 people in the past few years who lost there lives in Atlanta by being in the wrong place (most anywhere) at the wrong time (24/7).

"I almost took MARTA once.....

The problem down there isn't with a piece of machinery (MARTA); it's purely political.

Metro Atlanta chooses to not vigorously police and preemptively strike at the scumbags, not matter where they are found.

The subways in NYC were a lot safer when Rudy G. was mayor.

The scumbag killer just waived his initial hearing. Next court date set for April 2. I have jury duty coming up and hope they seat me on something like this.

I live north of Atlanta, near Gainesville.

Its not a bad place. Like any city, it has its criminal element. And, of course, its city government is run mostly along the lines of a racial spoils system.
