Anyone who can read this can easily see that the vast majority of expenses goes towards the programs. Let's cool it on the damning of patriots until we can see their response.
I for one, have much faith in people like Oliver North, Charlie Daniels, Lee Greenwood, Sean Hannity, and the hundreds of others who work so hard to do good things for our service people.
BTW, they have more than the one or two programs the slanderous Schlussel would have you believe.

Yes, these are indeed the FA’s figures for 2007. I am looking into the more recent 990s. I am a Hannity detractor, but I also think Schlussel is a demented bitch (she hates Palin, for example). Whoever is wrong should be banned from this site. Schlussel may well lose every penny she has if she is wrong. We shall see.

Agree. I have had it with this woman. Her tactics are what I expect from the left. Her bias is clear: she has no interest in fairness.
Any incorrect statement is a deliberate lie. She paints every fact in the worst possible light: for ex, she thinks wounded soldiers were given too little money. How does she know that their grants were not in line with what they requested?
She also seems not to understand that putting on these concerts costs serious money. The folks she calls Sean’s cronies are probably regular people trying to make a living ... just like her. Or is she the only one who is allowed to do that.

You are being mislead...the grants are only part of what the Freedom Alliance does. They have numerous programs that aid our servicemen and their families. If you look at the independent Charity Navigator rating you will see that the Freedom Alliance enjoys a four out of four star rating and indeed nearly 80% of their money goes to administrative costs. You are looking at tax statements while being told a lie about what the numbers represent.

Much, of their mailing costs are mailing care packages overseas to our troops. This is one example of where this terrible person distorted the truth. The care packages are a distinct program which Schlussel purposely ignores to distort and slander.

I mis-wrote the above, 80% of the money goes to program costs...only about 5% goes to administrative costs.

Distributing $800k on revenues of $12 million?
I am open to learning more about their contributions but those are the numbers. They don’t have some secret trust that I am aware of.
