I have been there. Rd Square is actually kind of small. GUM is on one side (nobody who works for a living can afford tot shop there) and Lenins tomb on the other (last time I checked he was stilld ead).

I actually felt that Red Square was MASSIVE when I was there - only highlighted by the immensity of the buildings that flank it. It’s so big that when you stand at one end, St. Basils Cathedral looks like a toy model. Guess we have different perspectives. Did you visit the Armory in the Kremlin?

As far as this event; I imagine the Germans are loving it.

” Lenins tomb on the other...”

I would like to see that plastic fruit. I’ve heard they open the crypt once a month, inject a bunch of chemicals and tape on the nose or whatever part is about to fall off. The Egyptians were better at mummification.

I’d like to buy the thing and take it on a nationwide tour. I’d rig the mouth so it moves. Then dress old Vlad in a Nazi uniform, hire a ventriloquist and make him spout democrat talking points.

“Hope and change. Seig Heil! Seig Heil!”
