Washington - The fierce and fateful battle over health care reform has forced President Barack Obama to delay his departure on a trip to Indonesia and Australia by three days, to March 21.
[snip]
Obama has billed himself as America's first "Pacific president" and his journey had been timed to coincide with his daughters' school's spring break to allow the president to take his family.

What is a Pacific President?
I call BS.
This battle over healthcare did not force him to postpone the trip. He’s the friggin president; he sets his own schedule. And in the worst case, if Congress deems the bill passed when he’s away, he can sign it from wherever in the world he is. He would only miss the photo op since he would be out of town.
Is Pacific some sort of code word for Muslim?
Funny.. You think the guy would be proud that he is a Muslim. But he seems to think he has to deny it.
ML/NJ
Goody goody.
Did the poor widdle boy lose a few days of vacation? That’s OK, it gave him an opportunity to insult Japan and Australia.
I thought he was the first African-American president? Or was that African-African president?
Poor Barry...
He misspoke. He meant to say Pacifist President
apparently pacific president means he bows to foreign leaders across the pacific
WGAS about the ones vacation...has he been on anything but a vacation since 2008?
Gosh! I hope he’ll get there in time for all the PROTESTS going on there against his going there.....
Hey, he could make the photo op even bigger by signing the bill in Indo and beaming the glorious image to American serfs by satellite.
Almost all he ever does is vacation. He comes back long enough to launch another 0bamanation bomb and then he’s so “tired” he needs another “break”. Cry me a river 0bama. He makes me sick!
I guess this explains why he is so frosty about that pesky “Special Relationship” we’ve always had with that little island nation across the Atlantic.
I knew that. ;)
