Either the Obama administration has really decided to throw Israel under the bus, or … well, what other interpretation can be made from their rhetoric on settlements in Jerusalem? The Wall Street Journal scratches its head to wonder why Barack Obama, Joe Biden, and Hillary Clinton have chosen this particular time to issue condemnations of Israel, just when Obama would probably like to have some influence to keep them from striking Iran. From their perspective, it looks like an attempt to meddle in Israel’s electoral politics:
When it comes to Israel, however, the Administration has no trouble rising to a high pitch of public indignation. On a visit to Israel last week, Vice President Joe Biden condemned an announcement by a mid-level Israeli official that the government had approved a planning stage—the fourth out of seven required—for the construction of 1,600 housing units in north Jerusalem. Assuming final approval, no ground will be broken on the project for at least three years.

Why? Because he wants to see Israel destroyed. Because he wants to see the “Palestinians” take over that country and turn it into the same squalid slum that they live in now. Because he supports the rise of Shariah Islam. He dislikes Israel both as a Jewish homeland and as a democratic state. I hope American Jews are paying attention.

Obama's behavior is perfectly consistent with that of any person who seeks to end a romantic relationship.
He is looking for some mistake by his partner that he can use to torpedo the relationship. He needs a blow-up so he can walk away yet put the blame for the break-up on Israel!

Those of you who believe in Scripture realize that this isn’t going to turn out well for Obama and our nation.
It's hard to understand how we, or anyone can tell another Nation that they can't build homes on their own land. As Americans we would tell any Nation to suck sand if they told us not to build, for example close to the Canadian or Mexican border.
I hope Israel builds away, and to their hearts content in spite of the Arab in Chief Obama.
That's downplaying the impact of an announcement that did make the papers here and abroad.
Did anyone seriously think something like this would be announced in Israel when Biden was there and he wouldn't get involved?
When has Joe ever failed to open his mouth when he had the chance?
