This stupid non-story pops up occasionally from the anti-gun crowd. Police agencies often sell used cop guns and confiscated guns from old court cases. Naturally, the antis tyr to make the gun the criminal, and act outraged that “cops are putting criminal guns back in circulation”.
The base insinuation here is that once a gun has been used in a crime, it should be destroyed.
