I love the “poor man’s teleprompter” line! She needs to continue to use that because she’s really good at self-deprecating humor and it just makes those who get all wee-wee’d up and attack her look silly when she laughs it off.
Secure people are able to use self-deprecating humor.

Sarah Palin has good political instincts, regardless of whatever imperfection you may point to (McCain fundraiser, or whatever else). She’s quite good, and I think smart. I think she’s learning more and more as she goes, as she simply hadn’t had experience in the national spotlight before about 2 years ago. Not bad for someone that is probably a lot like one of us. Well, other than she’s way better looking...:)
