Now they’ll agree to anything just to get something. If they get anything passed, it will just grow and change from there. Eventually, they’ll get everything they want. KILL THE BILL.

They will promise anything in the later “reconciliation” bill knowing that it will die. They want to sucker/provide cover for the Dims on the bubble into voting for the Senate bill so it can be signed into law as is.

The student loan provision is for the purpose of attracting those who are currently in the "no" column because there's no public option.

They're counting on the far left base being happy enough with a Gov't takeover of student loans to go for the bill.

Up to now, the left has been incensed that the mandates are being enforced in the health care bill.

Can this new loan add-on sway enough votes for passage?

“House and Senate Democratic leaders reached for agreement Friday on President Barack Obama’s health care bill,”

What part of this bill did Obozo actually write?

So the prospect of spending even more makes them more optimistic... They are heroin addicts.

Could be wrong but I think the big push, must have, is to try to save Obama’s bacon. So far all he has to show for over one year in office is falling poll numbers and he needs something big to say I did this for his base. That goes along with the need for control.

If they seriously think that passing this mess is going to save Obama’s bacon, they’re in for a big surprise as most of America doesn’t want it. Lunatics.

They're having some issues, otherwise they would have passed something already. The Congressional Democrats want Obama off their backs and their constituents to shut up. Passing something last year would have given Obama his trophy and it would have allowed at least some time to shore up the schisms back home. They've gone too far and they know it. Frankly, I am wondering if the Democrats are starting to delay in hopes that when (not if, but when) they lose seats in November they can pin the blame for failure on those "obstructionist" Republicans.

What an odd pic in the article. Either the cameraman was using some sort of weird lens, or Pelosi is developing the Hellboy Right Hand of Doom.

That’s the AP for you, always finding a few seconds to come up for breath from servicing their democrat masters to try to spin the news for their benefit.

“Trying to reach agreement” — like haven’t they been doing it for the past year”? “Quick action”, don’t they always want quick action?

check out Hugh Hewitt website. He has a email system to send letters to Blue Dogs.
http://hughhewitt.com

He also has a link to the Tim Burns, the Republican trying to take Murtha’s old seat.

Send him a contribution to send a message to the Democrats.
