Bloodied baby corpse pictures harm our pro-life cause.
In contrast, beautiful ultrasound movies convince vast numbers of pregnant women to not murder their unborn.
If you are pro-life and want to advance the pro-life cause, support ultra-sounds. Give them away for free to expectant mothers.
...and ditch the bloody baby pics. Disgusting.
I understand your point, and personally would be fine if I never saw one of those pictures again ... but I am pro-life. Abortion advocates need to see the images of the destruction they advocate.
Pictures of happy Jews may have convinced some Nazis of the evils of extermination camps — but images of the piles of corpses likely convinced more.
Gruesome images, while certainly offensive to the senses, are not an inherent evil when they convey truth.

“Bloodied baby corpse pictures harm our pro-life cause.” That is your opinion but if it were true than the liberals would not be so apoplectic in their reaction to these images being shown on campuses. If they hurt our cause the liberals would be happy to have us stand around with these photos so they could say “look at the crazy kooks”, but the reality is those photos have a deep and lasting impact on anyone who sees them and the liberals will do anything to stop people from seeing them.
Sir, thank you first of all for your post.
I must respectfully disagree. You see, I was not prolife when I reached university. I ran into the GAP display in my first year, and the display, while provocative is truthful. People cannot comprehend the true horror of 40 million abortions unless they see these pictures for themselves.
I saw abortion as a sanitised surgical procedure, done with scapels with men in white coats. Now, I see the true horror before my eyes, of rivers of blood, of burnt heads seared with salt, of bits of baby carefully assembled to assure that there are none that remain inside the mother.
If it took the shock of these pictures to change how I saw abortion, then I cannot in good conscience deny others the same opportunity of repentence.
