Supply — Demand
A little sensitivity would have put them on the Clearance Rack however
Where's the red headed, freckle faced Barbie? Only 3 in every 100 people are red headed. That makes us a much smaller minority than any of the other gubmint classifications and it's about time we were recognized for our contributions to society! /scarcasm off
Of course you’re right. Something doesn’t sell, mark it down. But with Marxists everything is political. A simple WalMart business decision becomes political, the weather is political (Global Warming and Katrina), education is political and so on.
The idea is to create chaos. The left believes its superior organization will survive the chaos and it will be the last man standing.
Libs don’t understand supply and demand. This is an absurd story.
Well, as a white person I’m going to sue them for reverse discrimination. They’re selling white Barbies for almost twice the price of black Barbies..........
live in rural WV, my county was 99.8% white as of the last census. There is only about 5 black families in the entire county of 22,000. Yet, the local Wal-Mart always puts out a large collection of black Santa Claus and Nativity Scenes which always remain unsold and are still sitting in the clearance bin a month after Christmas for 75% off.
One of my favorite Christmas pastimes is to buy a black Santa tree topper from the dollar store and discretely put it on top of my father-in-law’s Christmas tree. Every year the word’s, “That G-d D-mn Mike!” echo throughout the house when he finds it! It brings me great joy! ;-)

————————————————A real fan of Rev. Wright, eh?
Exactly. Its sound business practice. However, Wal Mart is anathema to leftists for being non-union and therefore anti-Marx (which doesn't stop them from shopping there).
Thank you. I was looking for words to that effect.
The picture is a metaphor for anything and nothing. To me, it's simply ironic, worthy of only the most passing interest. Some others would build a college studies program around it and immediately set about applying for federal grants.
More ironic, the latter would probably get that grant.
She comes with all of Ken's stuff!
There's no Ken in there with her though. We put him in an ordinary brown cardboard box. Can't even see him.
Now, cheap "Afro Barbies" ~ you can imagine what some perv might do with them eh!
there are people who do all manner of abuse to those toys
When Walmart raises the price to be the same as the white dolls, some enterprising lawyer will file suit accusing it of price gouging.

LOL! You’re bad. ;)
I’d buy a white doll and then file suit for having been cheated.
Hey, if it was a Democrat managed Wal-Mart they could call it the “Clarence (Thomas) Rack”.
IMO the preference for a light skinned or dark skinned is due in part to genetics and in part due to socialization.
A person who prefers dark skinned dolls can actually buy a dark skinned doll for half price. Seems to me that a person who has a predisposition for a light skinned doll is being discriminated against because they have to pay more.
LOL
I can see the doll now, detachable boobs and other parts.
Maybe they are only considered 3/5ths of a fashion doll.
; )
Someone sent me a picture of white trash barbie a while back and I can’t seem to find it. I think she was pregnant, had a couple of other kids in tow, cig hanging out of her mouth, and a black eye.
