I’m a little surprised that West Virginia hasn’t been renamed ‘Byrdland’.

I think Byrdland would be a great name for WV, I lived my first twenty five years born & raised in WV. I go back East every fall & every highway, bridge, school,Byrd pie at a restaurant even a church name after that old Byrd. I have subscription to the home town paper only takes a minute to read. If its not on front page thsts it but Byrd always has an article every week. Some one is writing for him & he still staffs several offices in the state & DC.My parents knew him when he was member of KKK & burned crosses in my home town.He has been around a long time- use to play a good fiddle in past years.
