We're Coming for You, Congress, Billboard

I-75 Lake City bill-board The photo below is of a billboard recently established on I-75 just south of Lake City [ Florida ]. They gathered there to celebrate its unveiling. The cost of 10 months rental of the billboard and doing the artwork was $6500. We feel that is a reasonable cost to reach out to 1,000,000 vehicles per month and perhaps motivate their participation in the electoral process to get our country on a sound footing.

Check out this billboard in Lake City, FL. This could be a very effective way to get the attention of Allen (Progressive supposed Bluedog) Boyd and other politicians who don't listen to their constituents.

Oy, I went to high school in Lake City. I’ll be polite and not give you the locals’ nickname for it. :-)

Great billboard! I want one here in Houston.

Ken, technically, you are correct. But in the action hero (and bad guy movies) It’s “for” you. As in the Unforgiven when Will Munny says, “Oh yeah, I’ve killed women and children and just about everything that walks or crawls. Now I’m here for you, Little Bill.”

I love it!

I called Boyd’s office in D.C. today, one of about twenty calls. I got right through, not a good sign. We need to melt those phone lines, now more than ever. We have to be heard, so call them all up! Here’s a list:

Yesterday, I called his offices in DC, Tallahassee and Panama City. Like you I was a bit disappointed to get right through.

I suspect he has added staff to handle the enormous amount of flak he’s getting.

All three phone robots told me he hadn’t made up his mind, had not seen the final language.

I’m confident the hypocritical bastard will vote yes and cash in.

Defeat Obamacare call list: List now contains the new MAYBES culled from FR posts.
PLEASE CALL! DC OFFICE LOCAL OFFICE State District

Code Red” - House Target List on Health Care

The National Republican Congressional Committee has published a target list on health care. In addition to continuing to contact the five Tennessee Democrat Congressmen, you can go http://www.votervoice.net/link/clickthrough/ext/94697.aspx to contact some of these targets. Much of the talk following Obama’s announcement has focused on how to defeat this second bill through reconciliation, but that is misleading because the first step to defeating Obamacare is not by concentrating on defeating the “fixer” bill but by defeating the Senate bill in the House when it goes to the floor for an up-or-down vote on Thursday, March 18th.

Won’t happen, the American people in both parties are opposed to congressmen in other states and districts, not their own popular little lawmaker who brings them “things.”

It's not just the liberals, it's Con-gress in it's entirety. Remember TARP, Stimulus, C4C, this current health-care debacle, Cap & Trade (or whatever the new name for that blunder is), housing subsidies, and the list goes on.

This administration has robbed us blind.

If any of the $6500 went to "art" I will eat my hat. Please, please, if you go to the trouble of spending $6500, spend some money on a graphic artist and get a Pub who works in marketing to help you with the message. I am sure he or she will do it for free.

By "message" I don't mean that I disagree with the point this group is trying to make. But, on the third line, they have the words:

Vote Liberals in 2010!

Now, you will counter that I missed the operative word "out". I will counter your counter with: that is the very point I am making! The third line is the punch line, the take action line. It needs to be clear and unambiguous to someone who is driving by at 50-60-70 miles an hour. Personally, I would not put "Vote" and "liberals" next to each other. Plus, since "Liberals" is bolder and redder the "out" - which is the most important word to the message is actually downplayed by the "artist" who conceived this sign.

Wow...only $6500!!!

That is well within the reach of a local fund raising effort. $10 x 650 donors...
