Call to action! Washington DC: March 16th, 2010 - Stop Obamacare 2.0
FreedomWorks.org ^ | March 10, 2010 | FreedomWorks.org via Michelle Malkin

Posted on 03/11/2010 8:36:17 AM PST by nutmeg

We are calling everyone that is able to come to Washington, DC on March 16th, 2010 for one last push against Obamacare. We will meet at the Cannon building at 9am and speak with as many representatives as possible, encouraging them to vote NO on this version of health care reform.

They haven’t listened to our mass protests (9/12) or election results. They are opening the doors to anarchy. Can’t make it to DC but there is a rally outside my local congressman’s office I will be attending. Isn’t this Slaughter the same one with the story about the woman using her dead sister’s dentures? That such a mentally challenged individual could be making the rules for pushing thru Obamacare is unthinkable!!

Speaking as a person of the feminine persuasion, I must ask all to note that this obstreperous effrontery is not being brought upon us by Obama alone or Obama per se, but by the prideful diktat of two grandmothers, abortion-enthusiasts and professed churchwomen: Annunciata D'Alesandro Pelosi and Louise McIntosh Slaughter.

One happy consequence--- if this country survives--- is that we will never again have to tolerate foolish feminists' claim that political arrangements rest most safely in the hands of the female sex, because women make decisions in the context of relationship and caring, and are, compared to men, less attracted to the raw exercise of power.

Possible Motto? "Equal Hell for Equal Hubris."

ACTION ALERT

With handy, clickable contact information

Here's the official Code Red List for the selected HOUSE DEMOCRATS THAT NEED TO BE PUSHED HARDEST.

The clickable links go to their online Message System. You can use the same City, State, Zip, and Area Codes as one of their local district offices (usually listed on the same page) with any street address you want --- you're using local information to get through their spam filter. For Zip+4, use any 4 digits added onto the selected Zip Code.

Write a brief, punchy letter in your Word Program, and cut-and-paste it to one congresscritter after another from the CODE RED LIST.

It is easy to do 15 or 20 of them in an hour.

Each Congressional website also has the phone, fax, and district office addresses for each Representative. I strongly urge you to phone, fax, and if at all possible, personally visit a District Office, This makes a maximum impression.

We can absolutely win this one.

Oh, give me a phone
Where the Democrats roam,
In the land of the Bribe and the Spin,
Where we never let up
On the Blue Doggie pups,
Cause we won't let Obamunists win.

Phone, e-mail and yell,
Whether doggies are Red, White or Blue,
Then we'll barge through the dooor,
And we'll sit on the floooor,
Till they join the Tea Party too!

I have the phone list, which will tell you who, then go to their web sites for email contact. Bayner (SP?) is doing a push call for campaign cash. Got one just a few minutes ago....told them they’d better start hitting the Medicare/SS and Tricare for the retired Military HARD or they were going to loose this battle. Girl said she’d pass the message along.

PLEASE CALL! DC OFFICE LOCAL OFFICE State District

Code Red” - House Target List on Health Care

The National Republican Congressional Committee has published a target list on health care. In addition to continuing to contact the five Tennessee Democrat Congressmen, you can go http://www.votervoice.net/link/clickthrough/ext/94697.aspx to contact some of these targets. Much of the talk following Obama’s announcement has focused on how to defeat this second bill through reconciliation, but that is misleading because the first step to defeating Obamacare is not by concentrating on defeating the “fixer” bill but by defeating the Senate bill in the House when it goes to the floor for an up-or-down vote on Thursday, March 18th.

Had a push call from him today, said I’d send a few dollars but did not let them pin me down to an amount...we are SS/Medicare/retired Military and with no COLA raises for the next 3 years we will be having a hard time...I’m planting a Survivor’s Garden....home owners a$$c. be D, I’ll hide what I can behind flowers, but if push comes to shove I’ve a big front hill, but a VERY steep tiny back one...so front yard will get dug up and planted in veggies.

How can this not be illegal? We need Constitutional lawyers to get out there and publicize this treachery. We need to see a Congressional vote...not Betty Botox’s word that it passed the house.

Love your post. I am apprehensive of electing women of either party, as we have seen some Rs go “squishy.” The only righteous strong females we have are in the House: Blackburn being one.

Not only will there be a mass purging of these creatures in DC but for decades the citizens of this nation will repel the Progressives completely and decimate the Progressives and Marxists in both Republican and Democratic Party. Can you feel it? Nothing short of real Revolution in the air! Political of course as no one wants anything violent.

Pointless? B/S! The Tea Party and Townhall protests are the only reason they haven’t already passed this Democrat/Marxist boondoggle. The Democrats fear the wrath of the people! Keep the pressure on!! When the people fear the government we have tyranny. When the politicians fear the people we have Liberty!! Resistance to tyranny is obedience to God!! Rebellion is brewing!!

I do not believe the march is pointless. Every action of opposition is important from calling representatives to marching on DC. I meant that if the march stopped at a point of not preventing congress from acting on the bill that it was pointless.

An old fashion 60's sit-in at the hallowed halls may be in order.
