That happens.

It could be Abu Yahya al-Libi or al-Adams or al-Adam which brings you back to Adam Gadahn and his many akas OR one of the American jihadis in Pakistan that is an Adam, too.

“Top Al Qaeda leader reported held in Karachi”
By Anwar Iqbal
Monday, 08 Mar, 2010

SNIPPET: “WASHINGTON: An American Al Qaeda leader, Adam Yahiye Gadahn, was arrested in Karachi on Sunday, US and Pakistani diplomatic sources told journalists here.

Gadahn was likely detained in Sohrab Goth, a major Pashtun area in northern Karachi, which also has a large population of tribesmen from North and South Waziristan.

Also known as ‘Azzam the American’, Gadahn has long been on the US ‘Most Wanted List’. Officials in Washington described his capture as ‘a major victory’ in the war against Al Qaeda.

All major US media outlets, while reporting the arrest of Osama bin Laden’s spokesman, also credited DawnNews with breaking the news.

The reported capture of Gadahn comes the same day as As Sahab, Al Qaeda website, released a video of him praising Major Nidal Hasan, the US army officer who murdered 13 soldiers at Fort Hood, Texas, on Nov 5, 2009.”

Gadahn is one guy I would like to see thoroughly tortured.

Being that the Pakistanis caught him, maybe that is happening right now.

Eric Holder will try to make them stop and to grant him US Constitutional rights.

Problem is, we are all on to Holder now and his Seven Jihadi Dwarf lawyers at Justice. It may not be so easy for him to have Adam Yahya Spoiled California Brat brought home.

The March 8 local Pakistan news are saying it’s Gadahn.

I consider everything is breaking news.

On March 7th, allegedly 1 person was with Abu Yayha when he was arrested.

On March 8th, souces are saying 2 people were with him.

The reports are stating Gadahn (who has numerous akas including Yayha) was arrested.

The New York Times, sourcing American and Pakistani officials, reports that the man arrested was Abu Yahya Mujahdeen Al-Adam, and describes him as an al Qaeda commander who was born in Pennsylvania.

Western diplomats in Islamabad, responding to the latest twist to this increasingly confusing saga, said the arrest is not insignificant. "Even if this is not Adam Gadahn, it is still not an unimportant development. But let's hold our breath before we come to a final conclusion. We may be groping in the dark 'til someone, especially the Pakistanis who are holding this man, agree to present him publicly," said one western diplomat in Islamabad who spoke to CBS News on condition of anonymity.

KARACHI, March 8, 2010
“Key al-Qaeda operative arrested in Karachi”

PTI

SNIPPET: “Pakistan’s intelligence agencies have arrested two terrorists, including a US-national, who for many years acted as a spokesman for Osama Bin Laden and the Al-Qaeda, in the city.

Well-placed sources in the government and the police said US national Abu Yayha Azam, who is also known as Adam Gadahn, along with another terrorist was arrested two days ago from a house located close to Sohrab Goth on the Super highway, confirming fears that the Taliban and al—Qaeda are using the city as a safe base.

The two have now been shifted to an undisclosed location for further interrogation, the sources said.”

According to my source, who is not athourized to speak, the base is on lock down.

Sheppard AFB.

-Squadron 361 has hostage situation. Mecanical Unit-

That makes, not a lot of sense.

But this is coming from sources who do not understand USAF.

Usually I see something on the front pages, ie base is closed, extra security, or something...it may be too new for me to find public info or it’s not true.

The only base lockdown I still see in public files was the Nellis AFB on March 5th.
