Most bozos engage in this "separation of church and state" garbage even when no such violation is present. These are overreactions to the fear that the piggies down at the aCLU will end up taking them to court and they just want to avoid the hassle and expenditures fooling around with our out of whack "legal system". In their desire to pacify the piggies down at the aCLU, they end up violating the rights of other Americans.
