Chyron is the brother of Tanyashika and Vonetta who work at Jesse Jackson’s Operation Push headquaters.
The Chyron (ky-ron) is a character generator that is used to superimpose text/fonts/graphics on the lower-third of the screen. We always called them “supers” and the Chyron operator “did the fonts”, but I suppose the words themselves are called Chyrons by some news organizations.
