I do so love to see people cover for their own mistake(s) with lame excuses. It happens about 90% of the time.
So...this guy drove across the country to attack a target in Arlington, VA—and for reasons completely unknown kept going ENE for a few miles before he realized that the hotels are all far too expensive in the District and ends up at the Arlington Holiday Inn.
Sure, that sounds logical.
Soon the guy who thought the DC police did the shooting will show up and claim that they were DC police moonlighting as Pentagon security.
