Putting Iraq on a path to democracy and decency is a noble accomplishment for which Americans, of all parties, should be proud.

Why would he say that, the Dems did everything in their power to lose that war. It would have been over years ago if they didn't support the terrorists 24/7/365. He is doing the usual Repub generous statement.

No, the msm is already preparing the history revision. The Congress voted to send troops to Iraq, Bush screwed it up and when the Dems won the 2006 elections, they DEMANDED that Bush send 20,000 more troops to Iraq. Get ready for it. It's coming.

Was talking with a friend about this just yesterday. According to many leftists, the Iraq war was 'one of' if not 'the' defining moments of the worst presidency ever. Now it is to become this presidents greatest achievement?

Step back and hear what they are saying: This presidency is going so poorly that the worst in Bush is the best of Obama.

Meanwhile, other hated Bush policies/actions:

  Patriot Act (extended under Obama/Dems)
  budget deficits
      Bush's coming down (because of his terrible stimulus/relief is being partially paid-back)
      Obama/Dems will probably end up doubling W's last year (under Dem congress, maybe tripling W's last year under R congress)

As bad as things are, I am just thankful they aren't so much worse - RE: healthcare. Because of my opposition to govt taking over more of healthcare, I am a racist. And have been for 15 years (because I opposed it when Clinton tried it...).
