Bunning caved in the end and ALL the Repubs voted for the bill. Indeed, what a historic and heroic stand.....=.=

He probably figured, why the hell should I get killed for. If they are too stupid to see what is happening, hell with them.

What he did was cast his pearls before the swine and they turned on him and rendered him.

Actually Bunning did not cave. He was only holding up passge by unanimous consent- demanding a vote on the measure. He got the vote so now we have Demcrats on record being hypocritical

Well, Bunning was heroic for a few days anyway.

I listened to Bunning on the Sean Show. I didn’t know he’d worked in high finance for thirty years. He knew his stuff but did an absolutely terrible job presenting his argument.

He kept switching topics before he’d finished making his point. One would have expected a well-organized spiel as he knew he’d be in the eye of the hurricane. The cracker-barrel humor and slow drawl only made him sound profoundly unserious. I was NOT interested in hearing about his 40 grandchildren in this context. I was NOT interested in listening to him and Sean have a love-in.

Personally, I don’t believe this was anything but a stunt.
