I thought Obama said throughout 2008 that he wanted to change the way Washington usually does things?
Well, the usual way is to pay more spending in a hurried, unthinking manner. Done thousands of times, it’s part of the reason there a huge debt problem now.
So Obama should be happy with Bunning - he’s doing as Obama wanted, changing the usual automatic-approval Washington culture!
Rand Paul supports Bunning’s actions also.

Tell these idiots to use some of the Trillion dollar Failed stimulus money to do these things. Stop letting the Democrats run roughshod over the American People this is real money that comes from real taxpayers....
Fax, write, email and thank Senator Bunning from standing up for American taxpayers and using his power to stop Obama and the Democrats fiscal madness which seems hell bent on the forced bankruptcy of America.

No...this is good timing - a pregnant pause - rather than a full court press by all the GOP.
That would look like an orchestrated cabal.
This way Bunning got out front as a lone eagle - a further groundswell of support will be thoughtful and dignified.
Senatorial theater - the Dems do it - like a horde of barbarians.
If he's successful the left's entire system based upon emotional kneejerk spending - the one thats served them for decades - collapses.

I disagree. It makes the GOP look timid and unwilling to go with what SHOULD be a natural response to irresponsibility of democrats.
As to GOP, with Senators Johnny McAmensty, Goober Graham, Olympia Snowejob, et al; orchestrating anything, now THAT would REALLY be something to see!
I like DeMint a lot. He’s not afraid to stand up and fight for conservative values.
Right now, I’m kinda split between him and Palin for POTUS in 2012. I like ‘em both.

I’ve seen criticism of Rand Paul lately, but everything I’ve seen of him, I’ve liked. Don’t judge the son by the father. He’s his own man.
