LOS ANGELESThe Smithsonian Institution has rejected a donation of the suit O.J. Simpson wore when he was acquitted of murdering his ex-wife and her friend.
The decision announced Tuesday comes a day after a judge approved the donation as the solution to a long court battle over the clothing. Smithsonian spokeswoman Linda St. Thomas says the suit is not appropriate for the museum's collection.

One day the Smithsonian will also reject Barack Obama’s empty suit.

Maybe Ripley’s Believe it or Not Museum will accept it.
Worth a try, OJ.

It was a historic moment to me, as I realized by the reaction of my teammates (I was a football player at the time) how racist black people were.
I had worked with and around black guys since college playing football and we never had any racial anything (other than normal guys screwing with each other stuff); we were very much teammates.
It was really eye opening how much so many black people hated white people, such that they celebrated a killer getting free.
It was pretty much that momement my eyes opened.
So, in short, the suit would mean a lot to me.

Give it to noted wife-beater Charlie Sheen. He might be needing it.

Maybe a prison somewhere can take it for a released convict to wear after he finishes his term.
Or maybe the prison could keep it as "wardrobe" for when the prisoners appear in court.

Well, let’s start with there being something worth remembering about the man or event.
A celebrity killed his wife, and his lawyer was clever enough to confuse the jury enough to let him off. So? Nothing worth remembering, certainly not his suit.
