(AP) With OJ Simpson giving his agreement from prison, a judge approved a plan today to donate the suit the former NFL star was wearing when he was acquitted of murder to the Smithsonian Institution.
The deal ends a 13-year legal battle between Simpson's former sports agent Mike Gilbert and Fred Goldman, the father of the man Simpson was accused of killing in 1994.
Both men claimed the right to the suit, shirt and tie Simpson was wearing Oct. 3, 1995, when he was acquitted of killing ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ronald Goldman after a trial that riveted the nation.

Actually quite appropriate.
Display it in either:

A sad day in America, how about his disguise and the bronco
OJ has to be kicking himself. He beat the rap and got away with decapitating two people. Then he allowed the law to get a second bite at the apple over stupid memorabilia.
Boy, I must really have dyslexia. I had to do a double-take. I swear I thought it said: Smithsonian Gets OJ’s ‘Acquittal Slut’
Sick!
My guess is that these days it's OJ who's the "slut".I'll wager that he's *real* popular with the young turks out in "the yard"....and in secluded parts of the prison as well.Chances are he's now known as a "wide receiver".
Couldn’t happen to a nicer guy...
Scum. He murdered two people in cold blood. I read Mark Furman’s book, and the miscarriage of justice was profound.
It was a reverse racial lynching.
I hope the “Nation’s Attic” puts the despicable suit out of sight in its most remote warehouse. Some things just don’t need to be celebrated.

Kato Kaelin?
“I hope the Nations Attic puts the despicable suit out of sight in its most remote warehouse. Some things just dont need to be celebrated.”
I agree. History, as a whole, has its good and bad moments. Sometimes even the bad (and corny and vile) must be preserved in order for future generations to see it.
But this is different.
There’s no more reason to display the “acquittal suit” than to display the suit Julius Rosenberg was wearing when he was found guilty.
In short, there’s no redeeming quality to show something like this.
Somethings are better left in a dark and remote part of a Smithsonian warehouse.
Ya gotta be freakin’ kidding ...
When I am having a bad day, all I have to do is think about what kind of day that animal is having behind bars and it cheers me right up.
Works every time!
