No he is not done. He's not going away. The people out here are dumb enough to put him back in power. Trust me there's no limit to the stupidity of the average California Voter. It's unbounded.
Brown has at least a 50-50 chance of winning and if I had to bet my life savings, I'd say he will win. Pathetic but it's the truth.
