George Soros Declares a 'Bankruptcy' of Free-Market Capitalism

You'd think the money man behind an array of left wing organizations wouldn't need CNN to get out his message about the death and "bankruptcy" of free-market capitalism, but there was left-wing billionaire and financier George Soros on "GPS" Feb.18

Interviewed by Fareed Zakaria, Soros said he disagreed with President Obama's decision to bail out the banks. Soros would have nationalized them. Soros also advocated for capping CEO pay, and imposing additional taxes on financial transactions and for banks based on size.

Zakaria offered praise for Obama, saying "You can look at any (issue) all by itself, but I think he's done pretty well and in some ways hasn't gotten the credit for it because the crisis was averted. So now the Republicans can say ‘there was no problem, we didn't need to spend all this money."

Personally, I think Fareed Zakaria is in the same traitor class as Soros. Why should I listen to some foriegn-born leftist attack America? Did Fareed-baby identify Soros as a convicted felon?

If capitalism is dead, then he won’t need any of his accumilated wealth. He can donate his billions to make part of a daily interest payment toward the national debt. Better yet, donate it FreeRepublic.com!

“Interviewed by Fareed Zakaria, Soros said,,,,”

Foreign born, interviewing foreign born. Why not throw in Madeliele Albright as a moderator? Seems like a lotta foreign roots types generally don’t agree with the American way,, who woulda thunk it?

You also can tell he really does not like capitalism. He wrote a book called, The Crisis of Global Capitalism. Makes you wonder why he hates a system which has made him obscenely wealthy.

I wouldn’t call it a bankruptcy but rather a rape or set of rapes.

Sure, it's easy to say someone else's money should be restricted.

Now I want him to support a cap on the amount of investment growth an individual can earn. Otherwise, he's just the same greedy, mean capitalist swine as everyone else. :-)

The only good thing Fareed ever wrote was a fairly interesting article on German wines. Other than that he is a typical foreigner, dead set on ending the USA as it was intended.

>>How funny is that?

Not funny at all.  It's symptomatic of the failure to recognize that Capitalism is not a god to be worshipped but is merely a tool; and, like any other tool, one that can be used for either good or evil depending upon the moral framework it is operated from within.  As exemplified by the Sabbateanesque Soros and the Communist Chinese - capitalism, ungoverned in the wrong hands, can be enormously destructive.

It's not like capitalism was invented in the 20th century; or that there aren't certain, inevitable, self-evident problems that arise from its utilization within the context of Human Nature...

Thus, the specified purpose of American governance:
"TO SECURE THESE RIGHTS, governments are instituted among men"

Oh but you know HE’S NOT a greedy capitalist. It’s ok for him to have the net worth he has because he’s compassionate. *barf*
