Ivins was bondage and sorority obsessed cross dressing yankee hater.
March 1- After the Department of Justice last month formally closed its probe of the 2001 Anthrax attacks, the FBI released the years-long investigation that ended with officials concluding that Bruce Ivins, a government scientist who committed suicide in July 2008, was responsible for the mailings that killed five victims.

Worth a read, folks. Another crazy, lefty Obama voter. This guy was an absolute nutcase.
Concerning the “I’m voting for Obama,” part, when you scroll down, you can read where it says that Ivins says that he was afraid of Dick Cheney, that he said that the Patriot Act was unconstitutional and that he was going to vote for Obama.
Funny how the gov’t released information this right after the Patriot Act was extended...
Bump for later
Correction. I meant to post: Funny how the gov’t released this information right after the Patriot Act was extended.
Didn’t like Dick Cheney (right-winger)...I’m voting for Obama (left-winger)...cross dresser...
Yep, a left-winger!
DOMINANT MEDIA REPORTING AND RESPONSE :
Well, I saw the earlier FBI release after his suicide that said he was guilty of the anthrax mailings, case closed. But this is the first time I’ve seen all these details. He has a female underwear fetish, he cross dresses, he hates Cheney, and he voted for Obama.
Worst of all, he even said “I hate the NY Yankees!”
That does it. I didn’t believe it before, but now I say, Guilty.
Kinda bizarre, though. His anthrax targets, as I recall, including liberals, such as Daschle and even Brokaw, no?
One would think an uber-lib like this guy would have been more directed at conservatives.
Worst of all, he even said I hate the NY Yankees!
Well he couldn’t have been all bad. I hear he loved dogs.
Looks like he off’d himself just in time. He didn’t vote for anybody (unless he’s registered in Chicago).
No, I don’t believe Dr. Ivin is the Amerithrax man. That would be Abdul Raul and the Al-Queda associates given free roam of university microbiology acedemic programs. Yes, the anthrax was of the Ivin’s silica variety, but the material was stolen from Iowa State University by foreigners under AQ Ayman al-Zawahiri, just as they stated. Likely delivery via Jabbar, who died on flight 587, 11/21/01.
He probably ‘voted early and often’....courtesy of Acorn. ;-)
Yes, some might say that a liberal would surely not direct his mailings at a target like Brokaw.
The problem with what you posit is that don’t we hear all the time from liberals that TV anchor guys like Brokaw aren’t liberal?
Well if this guy hadn’t committed suicide, he’d be leading Tea Parties!
-media talking points
Yeah, but we certainly knew about Tom Daschle’s politics.
But, given that liberals say that Brokaw isn’t really a liberal, did Ivins consider Daschle to not be a liberal?
If liberals think that Brokaw isn’t a liberal, whom else do they consider to not be liberal?
At the time Daschle was liberal among liberals. Brokaw comes off like Brian Williams. Rather soft-spoken about it but it’s part of the agenda; or so he came off to me anyways.
I don’t remember what the other targets were.
I would have imagined a guy like this would have targeted Limbaugh, perhaps BOR (at that time), and somebody the direct opposite of Daschle, etc.
Dennis Kucinich that is about it.
They busted a guy in my old apt complex back in the 90’s that was a panty stainer too. Oddly enough, he was a medical researcher too.
There is no one in media with views of their own, they will say the media is owned by wall street and will only hire those of their type.
Sorry, delivery via Abderraouf Jday, not Jabbar. Jabbar is the AQ man considered more dangerous than KSM, still at large, likely arranging the next hit.
At least he wasn't ALL bad!
Oh, I’m sure Chrissy Matthews, Olbermann and Mr. Maddow will be all over this story tonight.
This doesnt' add up. No indication he wrote for Media Matters or the New York Times.
Hopefully the FBI has some more relevant evidence for Ivins’ guilt in the anthrax mailings than the facts that he was a cross-dresser, obsessed with a sorority, and wanted to vote for Obama.
in other cases hating the NY Yankees would be a sign of sanity ;^)
GO RED SOX!
(Sorry about those mental scars. How do you think I feel?)
Yep. These quirks are embarrassing to him (or would be if he were still alive) but are pretty harmless. They have nothing to do with his anthrax-mailing, unless their 'outing' tells us the FBI has no real evidence against him and is desperate to get a 'conviction' in the media.
or he was awarded several Cook County votes posthumously.
“They have nothing to do with his anthrax-mailing, unless their ‘outing’ tells us the FBI has no real evidence against him and is desperate to get a ‘conviction’ in the media.”
I’m wondering about that too. The guy may have had access but the targets don’t add up. He had very specific targets. Hmmmm .....
The FBI handled this sloppily.
Was the anthrax weaponized or not?
Were samples autoclaved prior to electron microscopy?
