Pray to God who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, to end abortion in America.

God's power working in and through His people is unlimited and far beyond our comprehension when we submit to God's Word and Spirit. He receives glory when we are obedient to His calling and faithfully serve Him in His strength.
Consider God's hand of providence on this nation because of the faithfulness of a few who were totally committed to God and His truths. It is interesting to note the words of Mother Teresa of Calcutta: "Yours is the one great nation in all history which was founded on the precept of equal rights and respect for all humankind, for the poorest and weakest of us as well as the richest and strongest."
Mother Teresa, in addressing the Supreme Court of the United States said, "Human rights are not a privilege conferred by government. They are every human being's entitlement by virtue of his humanity. I have no new teaching for America. I seek only to recall you to faithfulness to what you once taught the world. Your nation was founded on the proposition very old as a moral precept, but startling and innovative as a political insight that human life is a gift of immeasurable worth, and that it deserves, always and everywhere, to be treated with the utmost dignity and respect."
It is time to restore that dignity and respect. Our God is able. Are we willing to remain faithful until His work through us is done?
PRAYER
God Almighty, Who is powerful and willing to supply, our hearts cry in unison for You to restore dignity and respect to human life, not only in America, but around the world. Lord, may our hearts remain faithful to your calling, and may You begin Your transforming work with me. Keep me ever mindful that with You Lord, nothing is impossible; without You, I can do nothing. To You be glory forever and ever, Amen.
Holy God,
Help us to stand for Your powerful truth and to recognize that the babies that are being mercilessly killed are our own brothers and sisters in Christ-—fully human, fully created by You, our God. Let us remain silent no more. We cry out to You on their behalf, knowing that You are the God who hears the prayers of His children. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
please protect all babies, the unborn and the born. Protect them at every stage of development, from conception to infancy. You have said, Lord, that even if a woman forgets the infant of her womb, "I will never forget you…Upon the palms of my hands I have written your name."
Jesus warned, "See that you do not despise one of these little ones," whose "angels in heaven always look upon the face of my heavenly Father", adding, "It is not the will of your heavenly Father that one of these little ones be lost." Keep them, O Lord, "as the apple of your eye; hide them in the shadow of your wings."
We pray this in the Name of Jesus.... amen.

Perhaps the strongest argument to tell those who think abortion is ok is the PP worker who decided to watch an abortion. She said that when the probe touched the unborn baby, the baby tried to pull away from the pain. But the baby was attacked and aborted anyway. She is no longer a PP worker.

Yes, the PP worker’s conscience was finally touched by what she saw. It is difficult to comprehend the total disregard of other workers who knowingly continue to impose such pain and death upon these innocent creations. We must persist in prayer until every heart is touched by the truth. Thank you for your post.

Hopefully through prayer and sound argument we can persuade today’s populace that we as nation can never truly achieve any realistic pursuit of happiness as a society as long as we continue to be a culture of death. That there is a morality to sex and that it is not just a act of pleasure but a scared commitment between a man and a woman before God and that violating that commitment out side the realm of marriage has grave consequences by destroying the moral society underpinnings of love and trust and leading to the break down of societal mores which further spirals down, away from the pursuit of happiness that our Founding Fathers set forth in the Declaration of Independence, into a pursuit of instant gratification that results in a culture of death being fostered upon the nation to relieve one’s conscience of the burden of sin and the huge responsibility of a new life for the sake of momentary pleasure.
It will be a monumental task no doubt. Right now “Sex Sells and Everyone is Buying” is the media message bombardment that as captured us as a consumer and as a nation not just visually but subconsciously and has brought about a mindset that is, “Unless you are sexually stimulating”, a state of mentally you will not get ahead in life. So reversing many years of sexual liberation, counter culture rebellion, and the “If it feels good do it” mentality of the 60’s will take vast amounts of resources and time of those who believe in God’s way to make the case to our nation that the sexual act of creating life is a very special thing that is truly sacred and that innocence must be care for and protected above all else so life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness will have actual meaning. We must demonstrate that life is a rare commodity that can not be bought or sold on the open market but that it is a sacred, spiritual, unique, and a very delicate treasure to be held dearly and cherish above all else. We will have to show that the miracle of life is loving gift from God to each of us to be enjoyed and fulfilled.
Restoring the honor of living a virtuous life over the clever lie of the fun of mischievousness will not be easy. But it was a huge up hill fight for all those that sought to end slavery and yet they persisted because they knew it was right in the sight of God that all men are created equal and endowed with unalienable rights of our creator. So they fought on against monumental odds with many giving up their lives in the process and in time they over came. Thou it took years of many decades in the end slavery was abolished and men and women were free to take part in the great experiment of freedom and they were finally able to begin their own pursuit of happiness that is enshrined in our Declaration of Independence and the laws of our Constitution.
We must re-convince society that sex is not just a casual act of wanton pleasure to be preformed on a whim or enjoyed with your favorite brand of beer nor is it a commodity that can be purchased by buying the right kind of alcohol, chic jeans, stunning cosmetics, sports cars, seductive lingerie, and great smelling perfumes but that it is the most meaningful and loving experience of true intimacy to be shared in the confines of love between a man and woman who are in love with one another. That it is a holy act to be enjoyed for us to show our true love for one another. That the virtues of chastity are something special to behold and have and that the holiness of matrimony and God’s gift of sex is a special blessing he has bestowed upon us to be cherished intimately between a man and a woman.
In doing this we will have to tackle many things and use many avenues to get the message out. First we have to take on the taboo of sex and explain it in our congregations of why sex and marriage is scared. Then there are the arts such writing novels, screen plays, producing movies, music, paintings, sculpture, magazines, television, the internet, etc. It will be a political battle also to be fought by who will be elected and taking the message to Capital Hill to be heard over and over again until they understand that is truly a life and death decision that is being made that involves the future of America being the beckon of freedom for the innocent. Changing how a society thinks about life and sex is big task but like defeating slavery it can be done if we hold true to the our Judeo-Christian beliefs that are the building blocks of our freedom. It will done by spreading the gospel to all people that salvation is a free gift from God through the sacrifice of his son Jesus on the cross for all our sins. It will take much prayer and thinking outside the box to creatively achieve life changing results but all things are possible through faith in Christ. We will need to find ways of getting all dominations to work together on this and network among Jews and Christians to get the message out.

Your thoughtful, reasoned response is most appreciated. Thank you for demonstrating the love of God through your words and your recognition that He is the answer in all things. We have definitely strayed from His teachings regarding the proper place for the beautiful gift of sex which He intended to be enjoyed by a man and a woman within the commitment of marriage. The horrific price we have paid for our disobedience to His laws is seen in the tragedy of abortion, and in many other social and spiritual ills. But the battle continues, and He is with us in it. He is our Banner, and we will not surrender to the forces of evil or ignorance-—no matter what. God bless you. (I am saving your post in my files.)
