It has been said that you can tell more about a politician by his supporters. McCain has plenty of progressive/socialist supporters. Nuff said!

What Juan is doing is this: Every time JD gets an endorsement, Juan digs up dirt on or smears that group, then demands JD renounce them. This is a way of eroding support for JD through attrition - first this group (birthers), then that group (people who are against illegal alien invasion), and so on. Either JD disassociates himself from the group and loses their support, or he’s depicted as a supporter of the group (nut case birther or mean-spirited hater) Juan just smeared.

He’s attacking JD through JD’s supporters. The media is now his friend again (Juan isn’t carrying a grudge against them, apparently, at least not at this time when he needs them) and Juan has no qualms about using commie organizations like the ADL, JDL, NAACP and SPLC as info sources against JD’s supporters. Next thing Juan will probably whip out is Janet Incompetano’s militia report warning to be wary of veterans because they might be domestic terrorists.

That McCain was fighting knowing he held power and seniority. Win or lose. Even so, he nearly pulled it out. But when the economy imploded, he suspended his campaign to run back to Washington to make a bad situation even worse.
