Barr would have probably lost to Kahn in 2002. Barr's 3rd party Presidential run showed he was an attention seeker.

Boortz is a social liberal yet he likes Huckabee because of his support for the Fair tax. Also last year, Boortz dismissed the notion of Tea Party rallies until they grew lives of their own. Now Boortz is jumping on the bandwagon trying to make the Tea Parties into Fair tax rallies. Boortz is obsessed with the Fair Tax.

Possibly. At the time I figured Barr would have had better chance as the incumbent but you never know. Gingery was free of Barr's negatives.

If Kahn had won he could conceivably still in office today. The district was made more Republican in mid decade redistricting but that wasn't enough to beat Jim Marshall whom I hope will finally be dispatched this fall.

Boortz is obsessed with the Fair Tax.

Indeed he is. I see problems with the 'fair tax'. Personally I'd rather have a flat income tax.
