Okay, I'm gonna spell this out for you REAL simple:

• According to Islamic Prophecy, the 13th Imam arises from Mecca.
• If Mecca doesn't bloody well exist, then HOW can the 13th Imam arise therefrom?

AND, of course, how can Allah command a hajj to Mecca, if Mecca doesn't exist?

I could go on, and on, and on. In Islam, Mecca is God's geographic point of contact with the Faithful. Take out Mecca, and you've proven that the American Bomb is more powerful than Allah.

Only Tom Tancredo's people, and Ron Paul's people, are ballsy enough to say so out loud.

Destroying Mecca would destroy Islam as we know it, but it would not destroy the hundreds of millions of surviving Muslims enraged and mobilized by such an act.

OTOH, Judaism survives quite well without a High Priest, a Temple, and an Altar with daily burnt offerings. Islam would adapt to the destruction of their holiest of places also.

OTOOH, it is a fun fantasy to contemplate from time to time.
