They can call themselves anything they want, but they all worship JFK, have a picture of him in their home, and vote Democrat. This is DMN propaganda.

New poll: Perry rising but still can't break 50 percent

7:49 AM Wed, Feb 24, 2010
Wayne Slater/Reporter

A new poll reinforces the problem that Rick Perry has had for some time: He's a conservative Republican incumbent in a conservative Republican primary -- but he can't break 50 percent. The new Rasmussen Reports survey of likely Republican primary voters finds: Perry leading Senate Kay Bailey Hutchison 48 percent to 27 percent. Debra Medina trails at 16. That suggests that Perry is rising, Hutchison is falling and Medina is standing still (a surprising result considering her botched answer to the 9/11 truther question on the Glenn Beck radio show).

At the beginning of the month, Perry led 44 percent to Hutchison's 29 percent and Medina's 16 percent. Hutchison's high point in the Rasmussen polling was in September, just after she announced her candidacy for governor -- a 40 percent to 38 percent lead over Perry. It's been downhill since then. ............. end excerpts

Conservatives don’t vote to give themselves things. As bad as things are in my home state of Michigan, I don’t want stimulus funds.

It shows more than half of Texas Hispanics call themselves conservative, and a surprising 23 percent say they might participate in Tuesday's GOP primary.

Yawn. SSDD. LOL!

But how do they vote? I know a lot of people who are actually very conservative in their views and how they live their lives. But when it comes to voting, they will vote Democrat every time.

This is a LIE. Other than a stint in the Navy and briefly working a job for a year after that, I’ve lived in my native state (Texas). I’m from the Rio Grande Valley, grew up speaking proper Spanish, Hispanics continue to overwhelmingly vote Democrat. Every time.

There are exceptions but by overwhelmingly voting Democrat, what are they doing, regardless of what they SAY? They are supporting the Democrat platform 100% officially, by their very vote.

They can peddle this LIE to the Kool-Aid drinkers. Once the illegal aliens are granted amnesty, we will truly reap what we have sown and you will experience what we did in the Valley, a permanent state of Democrat rule.

Poll: More than half of Hispanics identify as conservative [TxGov]

Few of them vote conservative. This article is RINO propaganda.

But Camarillo said many Hispanics who identify themselves as conservative aren't talking about "less taxes, less government," the way white conservatives would.

54% of Hispanics self-describe themselves as white.

A lot of “Hispanics” ARE conservative, no doubt about it.

However, their families have been citizens since they helped Sam Houston whip Santa Anna.

Now, as for recent immigrants and invading barbarians (aka illegal aliens), somehow, I suspect they weren’t polled. I suspect most of the will vote for all the “free stuff” they can get.

Regardless, Gov. Rick Perry has fared relatively well, perhaps because of his anti-Washington rhetoric and his careful immigration stance....

LMAO...now that's telling it like it really is! What....you Texan's can find a decent conservative candidate who cares about our National Security to represent your state? Hutchinson and Perry are BOTH pro-illegal alien/amnesty...seems to me, being a border state, they'd have more sense than that and this article is nothing but a pure B.S. excuse to continue excusing their position.

I WISH they would breakdown these statistics more. To be honest, its almost an insult to call all "Hispanics", hispanic.

There is a tremendous diversity within "Hispania". Other than Mexicans, which are predominant in this country, you have Cubans, Colombians, Venezuelans, and others, who tend strongly to be conservative and Republican. Why? Because either they tend to have more money (Colombians and Venezuelans), or their home countries have been ravage by leftists (Cubans and Venezuelans).

I dont know if there is any hope for Mexicans, because they may end up being permanent wards of the Left, like Blacks. The rest of Hispanics should be ok.

That said, it is Mexicans who are multiplying here...

Same media template. Story about Republicans and they go interview a Democrat. Label any study that shows a non-white group supportive of a Republican “surprising”, etc.

Poll: Mexicans say Mexican-Americans Owe Loyalty to Mexico Over U.S.

(CNSNews.com) - Nearly 70 percent of Mexicans surveyed said that Mexican-Americans – including those born in the United States – owe their primary loyalty to Mexico, not the U.S.

While working as an election judge in 2000, a little Hispanic lady came into vote and brought her English-speaking son as her interpreter. She didn't know what a straight party ballot was but she was talking as if that was what she wanted to do. Her son and I must have worked for at least ten minutes to get her to understand how a straight party vote worked. I had to explain to her, through her son, what a party was and what a group of like-minded politicians do when they think about politics in the same way. She wanted to know what a conservative and what a liberal was, etc. Thinking that if she could not understand what made up a party I finally just asked her which person she wanted to vote for president and she said, "George Bush."

I really expected her to say "Al Gore."

The poll found that only 18 percent of Texas Hispanics say they're liberal or progressive, while 54 percent say they're conservative, moderate conservative or religiously conservative.

Hispanics are for the most part pro-life and pro-business. When addressed properly AND if they understand the detrimental effects of marxism AND they are not prey to marxist buzzwords, they will tend to vote the conservative ticket.
