Fifteen Years With No Global Warming Doesn't Mean There's No Global Warming, Says EPA Chief Wednesday, February 24, 2010 By Karen Schuberg

(CNSNews.com) – Fifteen years with no statistically significant increase in global temperatures does not mean that the human race is not causing the climate to change, EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson told CNSNews.com on Tuesday.

Jackson reasserted her faith in manmade global warming in response to a question from CNSNews.com asking if she agreed with the recent statement by prominent climate scientist Phil Jones that there had been no statistically significant global warming since 1995.

Jackson also said “we need to move aggressively” to pass energy regulation legislation.

On Capitol Hill Tuesday, after a Senate Environment and Public Works Committee hearing, CNSNews.com asked Jackson if she agreed or disagreed with one of the world’s top climate-change scientists that there had been no statistically significant global warming for the past 15 years.

“Do you agree with Dr. Phil Jones, the former head of the Climate Research Unit at the University of East Anglia, that there has been no statistically significant global warming since 1995?” CNSNews.com specifically asked.

Jackson responded: “I believe all the new information we have doesn’t lead to any different conclusion than what we reached in the Endangerment Finding. And that is that climate is changing and that mankind is responsible in part for that change, and that we need to move aggressively.”

I need to think on that.

Arge, those numbnuts could make your head swim.

These folks are really asking for the ol’ “pinata treatment”.

As in, hanging from a tree branch while we beat them with a stick.

My dog is an excellent repellent of komodo dragons and platypi. For evidence, there have been none of either species hanging around my house.

For the last 15 years, even.

Exactly...

so how long of a period would have to pass for there to be no global warming?

And another question, warmers - under what circumstances WOULD you say there was no global warming?

Some might say no evidence is evidence of nothing, not of something.

Or else we should all believe in leprechauns.

Years With No Global Warming Doesn’t Mean There’s No Global Warming,

Just because Obama is a bad president, doesn’t mean he is a bad president.

What kind of stupid logic is this? It doesn’t work no matter how you say it.

So when are they going to abandon this scam and go back to global cooling?

And are they going to reprogram Algore for that gig or find a new dummy? Obama should be out of a job right in time for that transition....

So many questions!

There's no global warming and there shouldn't be an EPA or an EPA chief!

Junk science and junk economic theory has turned America into a junk yard!

We need to unleash a junk yard dog on this suicidal central government as well as more than a few state houses!

yes... i got my dog for the sole purpose of keeping elephants out of the yard.

She was faithful to that end for 14 years. What a good dog!

I stated this to my lib-in-law years ago -

don’t worry, if this global warming thing falls flat,
the authoritarian collectivists will find some other “crisis”

in order to implement their world government, extreme taxation, extreme energy usage restrictions, and population control.

Even to “warmists”, this makes no sense. They go and change the name to “AGW Climate change”, and now there is no warming for 15 years... precisely the situation they wanted to cover given no change. With “AGW Climate Change”, they had warming causes glowbull warming, cooling causes it, and just staying the same causes it. Now, they are talking “Glowbull warming” again in a period of no change. So, is this just an in-your-face, we don’t care what we call it, we’re gonna go get crap-n-trade regardless of the weather, and regardless of what we call it situation?

I'm still depressed that there are not more REPUTABLE scientists standing up and saying, "What they're doing isn't science: manufacturing data, destroying data, corrupting Peer Reviews, tweaking computer models, and reaching conclusions which are not supported by evidence -- this is all crap and it's embarassing to me as a scientist."

I've seen some folks stand up and defend Science, but not nearly enough.

And yeah: I see Evolution as having all the problems of Global Warming. It's not science -- it's a political agenda.

You haven't noticed? A few years back they dropped the global warming theme and went with Climate Change.
