I have defended Palin at length on the issue of her not being ready for prime time. While I did think she needed some work, I expressed my thought that she was a sound prospect for the presidential slot.
Now the enduring endorsement that has no name...
Sorry Sarah, you are proving your critics right and there’s not a damned thing I can do about it.
The smell of skunk doesn’t come off so easily, especially after spending months stroking one.
Sarah is not the person I hoped she was. If she can support a man that has at one time or another opposed everything I stand for, then I cannot support her.
I cannot express firmly enough how critical it is for John MeCain to be removed from a position of power within our own party. He will continue to short circuit Conservatism as long as he remains in the Senate, and at this crossroads, that’s an almost certain fatal blow to our nation.
Sarah, if you get this jackass re-elected, he will defeat everything you say you stand for. If you don’t or can’t, or both, realize this, then you’re not the Sarah Palin I longed to support.
Your detractors on our side have been right, and I have been hoping against reality that they weren’t.
