WASHINGTON (AP) - Democratic governors said Sunday they worry about President Barack Obama's track record on fighting Republican political attacks and urged him to better connect with anxious voters.

Some allies pleaded for a new election-year strategy focused on the economy.

"It's got to be better thought out," Pennsylvania Gov. Ed Rendell said. "It's got to be more proactive." And, he said, Democrats must hit back just as hard as they are hit by Republicans.

It’s too bad they aren’t more concerned about his destructive policies; as per usual, it’s about the party, not America.

He’s got to fight back more? Oh, yeah, that’ll help. Maybe he can attack Rush, or Fox News. That would do it.

Or he could tell Sarah Palin that she should have aborted Trig. She should get with the program.

Has Obama done anything else BUT attack Republicans and blame Bush? Or offer bribes to a few chosen RINOs?

Democrats must hit back just as hard as they are hit by Republicans.”

Ed Rendell still doesn't get it. It's not the Republican leaders who are hitting 0bama hard or bringing down his poll numbers. It's the Tea Parties, Rush, Conservative Talk Radio, etc, etc, who are spearheading an American electorate, that is angry with the Democrats over 0bamacare, cap and trade, etc. Hitting the Republican Party hard is not going to make a whit of difference.

Clueless RATs think it’s all about mean Republicans. What a sick joke!

The destruction of our country and the polls should be their first clue.

I thought they might be worried about his real track record as President, but ((sigh)), I guess not.

Maybe I should just be relieved that they are so deluded to think Obama himself is not the problem. Poor little communists.

That's the amazing thing. What Republican attack? You mean the grass-roots Tea Party? What Republican is out there fighting Obama? Who?

So rather than govern, they feel like they have to fight back even harder against the phantom Republicans. And all the while they fight these phantom Republicans they will decry the bitter partisanship of Washington and cry about how broken the system is. Wow, just think if the MSM were not actively protecting these guys. Just wow.

You’re right, plus the Democrats are self destructing. The GOP elite could care less as long as they get their share of the loot.

Good Lord! These people are totally clueless! The voters are connecting with the real Obama, finally, and they don't like the real message.

Please, do your best to connect with more voters. Please.

Maybe the Dems should line up the Republicans and shoot them.

That would be a great way to fight back and show who is boss.

The Kenyan socialist is failing because he lost white independent voters and senior citizens and they’re not coming back.
